Matthew Herbert's debut opera, The Crackle, inspired by the faust myth finishes its 4 show run tomorrow at the Linbury Theatre, Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London.

It features an amazing giant musical instrument built by Andy Cavatorta, a graduate of MIT media lab.

Audience members will also be invited to leave their phones on and the Chirp app enabled to receive additional information from the stage and action.

The opera features Matthew’s band alongside regular opera house players and the 47 strong Royal Opera House’s own youth opera company made up of 9-13 year olds.
